We provide estimating services at several design stages:
Massing Design Budget – taking a very rudimentary ‘massing design’ we can easily run some comparable projects numbers from our extensive cost database and deliver a target budget.
Concept Design Estimates – utilising early concept designs, we can accurately estimate your project confidently within 5-10%. An inexpensive detailed estimating tool that every project needs before committing to the costly developed design, appointing other consultants and the consenting phase.
Value engineering (VE) - once our professional opinion on the budget is established, VE is an important step to save further costs by introducing budget reviews and alternatives to the building fabric, structure, form and finish. If the design didn’t quite meet the budget, this inexpensive process will get the project budget back on track.
Design Reviews - continual reviews of the design against the project estimate.
Cost Planning - a Cost Plan is a more comprehensive and accurate assessment of the project budget and used as a benchmark for greater costs control during the project.
